Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is incredibly good, close to everything you can think of, including the beach, restaurants, shopping, and even the trolley stops right in front of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, but unfortunately, they were extremely noisy due to music from a local bar, keeping us awake until the early morning.
The hotel is in an amazing location right on the beach and close to various restaurants and shops. The rooms, although small, were decent, but noise from nearby weddings was a big issue. The service was lacking in friendliness and efficiency. On the bright side, the dining experience was superb with a delicious variety of food under the banyan tree.
The hotel is in a great spot, right on the beach and near restaurants. The rooms were clean and serviced daily, though a bit dated. The service was exceptional, especially from the housekeepers. The location is fantastic, ideal for beach lovers. However, the dining experience could be improved in terms of variety and service.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The beautiful room with a partial beach view made it a great experience, but being moved to a noisy room was a downside. The service was extremely welcoming, yet at times, the staff seemed understaffed. The location was perfect for surfing right out front, but the accommodations need a facelift. The dining was nice but pricey, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel is a lovely oasis with a back garden and relaxing music, but the rooms were small, dark, and had a wet carpet smell upon check-in. The service worked hard to keep guests informed during a union strike but the noise was disruptive. The hotel's location was perfect, right on the beach in Waikiki, with a mix of tired and well-managed areas. The dining was a mix of poor and expensive options, with a highlight on delicious food. However, the hotel exemplifies historical class and elegance with beautifully decorated rooms and extraordinary hospitality.
I had a nice stay at the Moana Surfrider. The rooms are a bit old and tired for the price paid, and there is a $35 charge for lounges on the beach. However, the service was excellent, with Lee from the pool staff being super helpful and polite. The location is great, being right near the Cheesecake Factory and on the beach. The dining experience was enjoyable with a variety of options, but the facilities could use some updating.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel with the nicest rooms offering a sweet view of Waikiki beach. The only downside was the noisy loading dock below my room at night.
